Quality professional audiology services are the result of quality people, using quality equipment in a team environment

David T. Nelson M.S., S.S., CCC-A has a Master of Science degree in Special Studies from SUNY at Fredonia. He was born and raised in the Southern Tier and has had many strong ties with Western New York throughout his life. He serves as Executive Director of Operations and President of ASA. David spent several years working at Gateway Youth and Family Services as a child care worker. This experience expanded David's knowledge of counseling and social work, his undergraduate focus, and helps makes him a superior patient counselor.

David also spent the early 1990's traveling New York and Pennsylvania training other audiologists in the use and interpretation of new equipment in the audiology field. David has a special focus in digital processing assistive systems, industrial hearing conservation, and special needs programs. David is the only audiologist in the Buffalo area holding the esteemed CAOHC Course Director Certification.

Susan L. Rybarczyk M.A., CCC-A holds a Master of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She was born and raised in Western New York. She currently serves as the Clinical supervisor of ASA and is responsible for the smooth, comforting treatment that all patients receive. Susan states, "If a patient is not given focused attention and care then the clinical expert cannot arrive at the source of the medical concern."

Susan lived in Boston, Massachusetts for the past three years where she had worked as a supervising audiologist at the world-renowned Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. Her specialty areas include electrophysiological testing and cochlear implant rehabilitation. Prior to working in the field of Audiology, Susan had the experience of working as a medical assistant in a local Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic as well as a Diagnostic Imaging facility. These experiences have given her a broader view of the medical field which she uses every day to enhance her professional skills.
