Audiology Service Associates provides a wide array of services. These services can be categorized into Screening, Diagnostic, and Rehabilitation services. We individualize our service to meet your specific needs. A unique strength of Audiology Service Associates is our diversity and comprehensive treatment of disorders of the ear and balance organs. To support our services we also provide Hearing Aid and Assistive Hearing Device sales, service, and supplies.

Screening Services

Screening services are designed to evaluate the potential or possible existence of a hearing problem. Our screening services include otoscopic examinations, pure tone air thresholds, otoacoustic emissions, and auditory evoked brain stem response testing.

Diagnostic Audiological Services

Diagnostic services are designed to evaluate the cause and extent of a hearing problem. Our diagnostic services include pure tone air conduction and bone conduction thresholds, speech reception, speech discrimination, tympanometry, and acoustic reflex testing.

• Electrophysiological Services: Electrophysiological tests may be considered objective measures. We perform auditory brain stem response, electrocochleography, electronystagmography, intraoperative monitoring of the facial and recurrent laryngeal nerve, and electroneuronagraphy.
• Auditory Evoked Brain stem Response (ABR): Measures the integrityof the auditory nerve from the level of the cochlea to the auditory cortex. Utilized in determining the presence of retrococh lear pathology.
• Electrocochleography (EchoG): Utilized in conjunction with the ABR to determine the presence of endolymphatic hydrops as seen in Meniere's Disease.
• Electronystagmography (ENG):"The Dizziness Test" Utilized to determine the presence of a vestibular pathology of either central, peripheral, or cervical spine origin.
• Intraoperative Monitoring: EMO monitoring for the preservation of auditory, facial, or recurrent laryngeal nerve during surgeries involving the facial recess or larynx such as mastoidectomy or thyroidectomy.
  

Rehabilitation Services: We are able to provide Tinnitus Retraining Therapy and Dizzy Therapy for patients with tinnitus or balance disorders. These therapies are able to assist patients in coping with these very difficult disorders.

ASA deals with the most up-to-date technology available on the market, currently specializing in digital hearing instruments from Oticon and Siemens. We also provide a comprehensive hearing aid fitting program which includes Audiological evaluation, selection, dispensing, a full line of accessories (including batteries) and an all-make repair service.

Assistive Hearing Device Sales: Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs) are devices which may be utilized by hearing impaired individuals to further assist them in their daily lives. There are a wide range of ALD's available from a simple phone or television amplifier to large area hearing assistive systems (for churches, theatres, etc.) from such companies as Siemens, Phonic Ear, Silent Call and many more.
